In this example, the frequency has been increased to 30 Hz. Up to 6 dB of boost is capable at this frequency. With +6dB of boost, the woofer has more output down to 23 Hz. Overall usable output is increased.
VENTED EXAMPLE
Vented enclosure benefit most from the INTELLi Q. Up to 10 dB of boost is capable at the box tuning frequency of 30 Hz. With +10dB of boost, the woofer has more output down to 22 Hz. The excursion below the tuning frequency has been greatly reduced.
