HOW TO USE YOUR OSTER® WAFFLE MAKER

PREPARING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER FOR USE

1. Open unit by lifting the upper handle.

2. Before using for the first time, clean cooking plates with cloth or sponge, dampened with hot, soapy water. DO NOT IMMERSE UNIT IN WATER. Rinse with dampened cloth or sponge and wipe dry.

3. When using for the first time, “season” the grids by rubbing lightly with cooking oil. Should sticking occur in later usage, reseason your unit.

PREPARING WAFFLES

1.Close unit and plug into outlet. Use only voltage specified on bottom of unit. The On light (Red) will come on. The Ready light (Yellow) will not come on.

CAUTION: Touch unit only by handles during use or directly after use.

2.Temperature Control Dial settings range from min for light waffles to max for dark waffles.

3.The unit is ready for use when the Ready light comes on.

4.Open unit and pour approximately 3/4 cup waffle batter onto grids. For best results, pour batter in a circle around outer edge of waffle maker. (See Illustration)

Close cover. It is very typical to have a small amount of batter run over grid and down unit. However, if an excessive amount of batter runs over, use less batter.

5.Cover will rise slightly as waffles begin to bake. Do not open cover while steam

is escaping. Most waffle recipes bake in approximately 5 minutes on the low setting, 4-1/2 minutes on the medium setting and 4 minutes on the high setting. Waffles are generally done when steam no longer escapes from sides and front of unit.

6.When waffles are done, remove with a plastic fork or wooden tongs.

NOTE: The Ready light may cycle on and off during cooking. This indicates that the thermostat is maintaining the unit at the proper cooking temperature.

7.Close cover and wait for Ready light to come on before preparing another batch of waffles.

3884, 3883 specifications

The Oster 3883 and 3884 models are two standout products from Oster's extensive line of blenders, designed to cater to the diverse blending needs of home cooks and culinary enthusiasts. These blenders highlight a blend of functionality, style, and advanced technology, making them a popular choice in kitchens around the world.

One of the main features of the Oster 3883 and 3884 blenders is their powerful motor. Equipped with a 700-watt motor, these blenders offer impressive performance capable of handling a variety of tasks, from crushing ice for smoothies to blending tough ingredients for soups and sauces. Users can rely on these blenders to deliver consistent results, whether they are preparing a morning smoothie or a homemade pesto.

Both models come with a robust 6-cup glass jar, which not only adds durability but is also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. The glass jar has measurement markings, allowing for convenient ingredient tracking while blending. Additionally, the jar's wide base aids in efficient mixing, ensuring that all ingredients blend evenly without leaving clumps behind.

The Oster 3883 and 3884 models feature a unique dual-direction blade technology, which ensures that the blades spin in both forward and reverse directions. This innovative design enhances the blending process by creating a vortex that pulls ingredients down into the blades, resulting in a finer, more uniform texture. This technology is particularly beneficial when blending thick mixtures, as it helps to incorporate air for a creamy consistency.

Another significant aspect of these models is the selection of speed settings. With multiple speed options and a pulse feature, users have complete control over their blending tasks. This versatility makes the Oster blenders suitable for a variety of recipes, from silky smoothies and soups to chunky dips and sauces.

The sleek and modern design of the Oster 3883 and 3884 also ensures that they fit seamlessly into any kitchen decor. With a compact footprint, these blenders do not occupy much counter space, making them suitable for kitchens of all sizes.
