POLLO MARINADO EN SALSA CÍTRICA

2 limones

2 cucharaditas de tomillo

2 naranjas

1/2 cucharadita de pimienta negra

1/4 de taza de jarabe de maple

2-1/2 libras de alas y piernas de pollo

1 cucharada de aceite de olivo

 

Ralle las cáscaras de los limones y naranjas. Exprima el jugo de ambos y colóquelo a un lado. En un tazón pequeño, mezcle la ralladura de limón, de la naranja y el jarabe de maple y en otro tazón aparte, revuelva los jugos, el aceite, el tomillo y la pimienta. Agregue el pollo y recubra completamente. Tape el tazón con papel plástico.

Marine en un refrigerador durante al menos 4 horas o si es posible durante la noche, volteando el pollo ocasionalmente. Cocine el pollo a la parrilla, volteando constantemente o hasta que esté completamente cocinado. Unte un poco de la mezcla de maple sobre

el pollo, gire y cocine a la parrilla durante 1 minuto. Unte el pollo con el sobrante de la mezcla, voltee y cocine a la parrilla por un minuto más.

HAMBURGUESAS DE PAVO

1-1/4 libras de carne de pavo molida

1/2 cucharadita de sal

1 cucharada de mostaza Dijon

1/4 de cucharadita de pimienta

1 cucharada de salsa Inglesa

4 rebanadas de queso blanco para derretir

2 dientes de ajo molidos

4 bollos, cortados y tostados

1 pequeña cebolla, molida

 

En un tazón, mezcle la carne de pavo, la mostaza, la salsa Inglesa, el ajo, la cebolla,

la sal y la pimienta. Forme 4 hamburguesas. Ase a la parrilla volteando la carne una vez o hasta que tengan consistencia firme y estén bien cocidas. Ponga una pieza de queso sobre cada hamburguesa. Cocine durante 30 segundos o hasta que el queso se haya derretido.

Coloque cada hamburguesa en un pan y sirva con lechuga, jitomate y cebolla (opcional).
