One-Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc. doingbusiness as JardenConsumer Solutions or if in Canada,SunbeamCorporation (Canada) Limited doingbusinessas Jarden ConsumerSolutions (collectively“JCS”)warrantsthat fora period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be freefrom defectsin material and workmanship. JCS, at itsoption,will repair or replacethis productor any component of theproductfound to be defective during thewarrantyperiod. Replacementwill be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If theproduct is no longeravailable, replacement maybe made witha similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusivewarranty. Do NOTattemptto repairor adjustany electrical or mechanical functionson this product. Doingso will voidthis warranty.
This warranty is valid for the originalretail purchaser from thedateof initial retailpurchaseandis not transferable. Keep theoriginalsales receipt.Proof of purchaseis requiredto obtainwarranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers,or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the rightto alter,modifyor any way change the terms andconditions of thiswarranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wearof partsor damageresulting from anyof the following:negligent use or misuse of the product, use on impropervoltageor current,use contraryto theoperating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other thanJCS or an authorizedJCS service center.Further,the warranty does not cover:Acts of God,suchas fire,flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’sLiability?
JCS shall not be liablefor any incidental or consequential damagescausedby the breachof any express, implied or statutory warrantyor condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicablelaw,any implied warranty or conditionof merchantabilityor fitness for a particular purpose is limited in durationto theduration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaims all otherwarranties, conditionsor representations, express, implied,statutoryor otherwise.
JCS shall not be liablefor any damages of any kind resultingfrom the purchase,useor misuseof,or inability to use the product includingincidental,special, consequentialor similar damagesor lossof profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or forany claim brought against purchaser by any other party.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictionsdo notallowthe exclusionor limitation of incidentalor consequential damages or limitations on howlongan impliedwarrantylasts,so theabovelimitationsor exclusionmaynot apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and youmay also haveother rights thatvaryfromprovinceto province, state to state or jurisdictionto jurisdiction.
