Press and hold the [DISPLAY] button for more than 1 second to activate the power LCD function. The LCD monitor becomes brighter than normal and it becomes easier to use outdoors.

While taking a picture, the LCD monitor automatically returns to the normal brightness if nothing is pressed for 30 seconds. Press any button to make the LCD monitor bright again.

If you press and hold the [DISPLAY] button for 1 second again, the power LCD function is deactivated and the LCD monitor returns to the normal brightness.

The brightness and the colors of the pictures displayed on the LCD monitor are adjusted when the power LCD function is activated. Therefore, some subjects may look different on the LCD monitor. However this does not affect the actual recording.

w Recording Guide Line

When you align the subject on the horizontal and vertical guide lines or the cross point of these lines, you can take pictures with well-designed composition by viewing the size, the slope and the balance of the subject.
