Press the shutter button halfway or turn the camera off and on to cancel [Sleep Mode].
To turn the LCD monitor on again, press any button or touch the LCD monitor.
[Sleep Mode] does not work in the following cases.
When using the AC adaptor (optional)
When connecting to a PC or a printer
When recording or playing back motion pictures
During a slide show
When [Live View Mode] is set to [ECO] the image quality on the recording screen may be
worse than when it is set to [NORMAL], but this does not affect the recorded image.
When [Live View Mode] is set to [NORMAL], the usage time is reduced.
If it is set to [HOLD] when the camera is set to [ ] or [ ], switching of the playback screen
display or enlargement by rotating the control dial is possible during Auto Review.
Regardless of the Auto Review setting, pictures will automatically be reviewed when taking
burst pictures with [H] set, and recording with Auto Bracket. (Will not hold)
[Auto Review] is disabled when Burst Mode is set to [M] or [L].
[Economy]
The unit can be set up to prevent unnecessary battery
consumption. You can set up the unit to automatically switch off
the power, automatically switch off the LCD monitor, or display in
such a way that the power consumption of the LCD monitor is
reduced.
[Sleep Mode]:
The camera is automatically turned off if the camera has not been
used for the time selected on the setting.
[10MIN.]/[5MIN.]/[2MIN. ]/[1MIN.]/[OFF]
[Auto LCD Off]:
The LCD monitor is automatically turned off if the camera has not
been used for the time selected on the setting.
[30MIN.]/[5MIN.]/[2MIN. ]/[1MIN.]
[Live View Mode]:
Sets the LCD monitor to display in such a way that power
consumption is reduced.
[NORMAL]/[ECO]
[Auto Review]
Set the length of time that the picture is displayed after taking the
still picture.
[HOLD]:
The pictures are displayed until shutter button is pressed halfway.
[5SEC]/[3SEC]/[1SEC]/[OFF]
