Playing Back Pictures on a TV Screen

Pictures recorded with this unit can be played back on a TV screen.

(DMC-SZ1)

•Please use the supplied AV cable. (DMC-SZ02)(DMC-FH8)

•Please use the optional AV cable (DMW-AVC1).

Preparations:

Set the [TV Aspect]. (P43)

Turn this unit and the TV off.

Connect the camera and a TV.

•Check the directions of the connectors, and plug them straight in or unplug them straight out. (Otherwise the connectors may bend out of shape, which may cause malfunction.)

Do not use any other AV cables except the supplied one.

•(DMC-SZ02) (DMC-FH8)

Always use a genuine Panasonic AV cable (DMW-AVC1: optional).

A	Yellow: to the video input socket	C	AV cable
B	White: to the audio input socket	D	Align the marks, and insert.

Turn the TV on and select external input.

Turn the camera on and then slide the REC/PLAY switch to [(].

Note

•Depending on the [Picture Size], black bands may be displayed on the top and bottom or the left and right of the pictures.

•Change the screen mode on your TV if the picture is displayed with the top or bottom cut off.

•When you play back a picture vertically, it may be blurry.

•When pictures are displayed, they may not be displayed properly depending on the type of TV.

•No sound is output from the camera speakers.

•Read the operating instructions for the TV.

The recorded still pictures can be played back on a TV with an SD Memory Card slot.

•Depending on the TV model, pictures may not be displayed on the full screen.

•Motion pictures cannot be played back. To play back motion pictures, connect the camera to the TV with the AV cable.

•In some cases, panorama pictures cannot be played back. Also, auto-scroll playback of panorama pictures may not work.

•For cards compatible with playback, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.
