8When you are finished, press (EXIT).
•The display asks if you want to save the entry.
9Press (YES) to save.
•If you have not entered a memory location number, the
phone automatically assigns the f i rst available location
and displays it for you.
•If you entered a location number that is already being
used, the display asks if you want to ov erwrite the
previously saved entry. For example, the display shows,
Overwrite John Smith? Press (NO) to enter a
different location number. Or, press (YES) to overwrite
(delete) the information that was previously saved in that
location.
OR
Press (NO) to delete your entry and return to standby.
Saving a Displayed Phone Number
1When a phone number is displayed, press (SAVE).
•You may save the number as a Work Phone #, Home
Phone #, Cell Phone #, or Other #.
2Press or to scroll to the desired phone number type.
3Press (OK) to store the phone number.
4To enter additional information and to save your phone
number, continue with step 3 from the “Cr eati ng a
Phonebook Entry” procedure (previous procedure).
