42 Phonebook Features
5If needed, press or to scroll to the number you want
to call.
•When the list of names appears, the following may
indicate there is no name entry: "----"
6When the arrow points to the desired entry, press (VIEW)
to view the saved information.
7Press or to scroll to the desired phone number and
press to call.
Editing/Deleting a Phonebook Entry
1From standby, press ( ) to enter the Phonebook.
2Press (OK) to select Search.
•Depending on your phone’s search method setting, the
display shows entries alphabetically by first or last name,
or by memory location number. To change the search
method setting, see “Selecting a Phonebook Search
Method”.
3Enter the name, a portion of the name, or the memory
location number, if desired.
4Press (FIND or OK).
5Press or to scroll to the desired entry to edit or delete.
6Press (VIEW) to display details.
7Press (OPTION).
•You have the option to edit the Prefix (adding an area
code or prefix numbers), Edit the entry, or dele te all of the
information in that memory location (Delete Entry).
8Scroll to the desired action, and press (OK).
•If you select Prefix, you may select whether to add an
area code, a “1” in front of the area code, or remove t hem.
Dial Setting enables you to change the numbers. You ca n
make a call by pressing or (SEND).
