You can switch the aspect ratio of the image.

1)Press ▲▼ to select [ASPECT].

2)Press ◀▶ or the <ENTER> button.

zzThe [ASPECT] individual adjustment screen is displayed.

3) Press ◀▶ to switch the setting.

zzThe aspect ratio changes as follows each time the button is pressed.

Attention

zzWhen an image in the aspect ratio of 4:3 is output in [FULL], the image may deform or the image at the edge section may be hidden. To respect the creator’s intension, project the image in the original aspect ratio.

Note

zz[AUTO] is displayed only when NTSC, 525i (480i) is input.

zz[S16:9] is displayed only when the wide signal of the aspect ratio 16:10, 16:9, and 15:9 is input. zzThe projected image may not change even when the aspect mode is changed, depending on the

input signal.

zzSome aspect ratios may not be available depending on the input signal.

zzIf an aspect ratio, which is different from the aspect ratio for the input signals, is selected, the image appears differently from the original image.

zzIf using the interface box in places such as cafes or hotels to display programs for a commercial purpose or for public presentation, note that changing the aspect ratio to change the screen pictures may be an infringement of the rights of the original copyright owner for that program under copyright protection laws.

zzIn [AUTO] setting, when an identification signal for the aspect ratio is included in the input signal, the optimal aspect ratio is set automatically.

zzIn S-video, video, or component (YCBCR/YPBPR) signal, there is a case that [AUTO] is not displayed.

zzWhen the image horizontally longer than the 16:9 aspect ratio of the cinema vision size is projected, the black region may appear at upper and lower sections of the screen.
