Protecting a file

Files can be protected so that they are not deleted by mistake. (Even if you protect some files, formatting the media will delete them.)

≥Set to Playback Mode. (l 22)

1Select the menu.

[MENU]:

1# [PROTECT]*

*When you are using an Eye-Fi card which has already been set to selective forwarding with a PC, [TRANSFER/PROTECT] is displayed.

2Select the file you wish to protect using the SET button and press the SET button.

≥ appears. To cancel the selection, press the SET button again.

3Press the MENU button to complete the settings.

≥Files set as protected will be displayed with for the thumbnail of 1 file. (l 41)
