Motion Detection Function & Image Transfer Mode

The Motion Detection function gives you a sure, efficient way to keep tabs on activity. When the camera detects movement, it shoots a still image, stores it temporarily in internal memory, and sends a copy to you by e-mail*5or FTP transfer. You can set the camera to snap a shot whenever someone walks by,

for example, or at preset times.

*5 When the e-mail function is used to transfer images or messages, e- mail transmission may not be possible in some cases due to the mail server authentication system (SMTP authentication, etc.) used by your Internet service provider.
