AUTO ANSWER mode will work when the 
(Auto answer) light is on.
AUTO ANSWER mode provides three types of receiving modes: “ﾌ ｧ ｸ ｽ / 留守電” (Fax/Answering device) mode, “ﾌ ｧ ｸ ｽ 専用” (Fax only) mode and “留守電専用” (Answering device only) mode.
Fax/Answering device mode (ﾌ ｧ ｸ ｽ / 留守電)
Select this mode when you want to receive all voice and fax calls automatically.
Fax only mode (ﾌ ｧ ｸ ｽ 専用):
Select this mode when you wish to use the unit only as a fax machine.
Answering device only mode (留守電専用):
Select this mode when you wish to use the unit only as a telephone answering device.
Change the setting if you want to use the fax only mode or answering device only mode.
