Setting Other Options

Within the Other Option menu, you can program the following:

•Change Handset PIN (hspin change). The factory pre-set is 0000.

•Set Auto Talk ON/OFF (auto talk).

The Auto Talk feature allows you to answer a call by lifting the handset off the base unit without pressing O. If you want to use this feature, turn the feature ON. The factory pre-set is OFF. In order to view caller’s phone number before answering a call, leave the Auto Talk feature OFF.

•Select Battery Type (battery type).

Two Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries are included with this unit. Ensure that the battery selection is set to Ni-MH, or the battery strength will not be displayed correctly.
