2.1 Tone / Ring Tone List

A different ringing pattern is used to distinguish intercom calls from incoming outside calls.
You can select the ringing pattern as follows in System Programming.
— Outside (CO) line: 3 patterns (A, B or C)
— Extension: 3 patterns (A, B or C)
— Doorphone: 4 patterns (A, B, C or D)

Distinctive Dial Tone
A distinctive dial tone will be heard from the handset if the extension user has previously
activated a certain feature.
Dial Tone 1: Ordinary dial tone
Dial Tone 2: When any of the following features are activated.
Absent Message Capability
Back Ground Music (BGM) (only a proprietary telephone)
Call Forwarding
Call Pickup Deny
Data Line Security
Do Not Disturb (DND)
Electronic Station Lockout
Message Waiting (only a proprietary telephone)
Pickup Dialing (only a single line telephone)
Timed Reminder
Dial Tone 3: When performing Account Code Entry and answering a Timed Reminder call.
Also sounds when going off-hook with an SLT which has a message in a Voice
Processing System.
