Making a call using a one-touch dial key
1Press and hold the desired one-touch
dial key ({0}{9}).
LYou can view other one-touch dial
assignments by pressing {^} or {V}.
2{C} or {CALL}.
Note:
LAn arrow (>) displayed at the end of a
number indicates that part of the number
is not shown. Press {>} to display the
remainder of the number. To return,
press {<}.
Canceling a one-touch dial assignment
1Press and hold the desired one-touch
dial key ({0}{9}).
2{ERASE} iYesi {SELECT}
3{OFF}
Note:
LThe corresponding handset phonebook
item is not erased.

Chain dial

This feature allows you to dial phone
numbers in the handset phonebook while
you are on a call. This feature can be used,
for example, to dial a calling card access
number or bank account PIN that you have
stored in the handset phonebook, without
having to dial manually.
1During an outside call, press {MENU}.
2Press {1} to select “Phonebook”.
3Find the desired item (page 21). i

Note:
LWhen storing a calling card access
number and your PIN in the phonebook
as one phonebook item, press {PAUSE}
to add pauses after the number and PIN
as necessary (page 16).
LIf you have rotary or pulse service, you
need to press {*} before pressing
{MENU} in step 1 to change the dialing
mode temporarily to tone.
