and S-VIDEO OUT. Please set TV to either RF INPUT or VIDEO INPUT, and then press

PROG.

To enjoy PROGRESSIVE SCAN video

(1). Connect Component Video Output to the component video input terminals of a television. (See p. 13.)

(2). When the PROGRESSIVE button is pressed, the ON lamp lights up (see p. 9) and the

PROGRESSIVE SCAN signal is output from the Component Video Output Connector.

Note

The PROGRESSIVE button can be operated when the DECK is in DVD function mode.

The screen may shift off-center when using progressive output. Please adjust the screen position if this occurs. (Refer to your TV manual.)

The DECK outputs video signals (not PROGRESSIVE SCAN) from the “VIDEO OUT” and “S- VIDEO OUT” terminals when the ON lamp is lit.
