Scene Mode

When you select a scene mode to match the subject and recording situation, the camera sets the optimal exposure and hue to obtain the desired picture.

• Refer to P50 to 57 for each scene menu.

1 Press 3/4 to select the scene mode.

Press 4 at A to switch to the next menu screen.

If [SCENE MODE] menu does not appear, press [MENU/SET] to display the [SCENE MODE] menu.

When you press 1, explanations about each scene mode are displayed. (When you press 2, the screen returns to the [SCENE MODE] menu.)

2 Press [MENU/SET].

About the menu screen items

There are 6 menu screens (1/6, 2/6, 3/6, 4/6, 5/6 and 6/6).

You can switch menu screens from any menu item by rotating the zoom lever.

The [AERIAL PHOTO] and [BEACH] in scene mode cannot be used in DMC-FX3.

When you take a picture with a scene mode that is not adequate for the purpose, the hue of the picture may differ from the actual scene.

When you want to change the brightness of the picture to be recorded, compensate the exposure (P44). (However, the exposure cannot be compensated in [STARRY SKY].)

Press 2 and then press 3/4 in the [SCENE MODE] menu to select either the

[REC] mode menu icon [ ] (P69) or the [SETUP] menu icon [ ] (P19) and set the desired items.

The following cannot be set in scene mode because the camera automatically adjusts them to the optimal setting.
