S88 Straps When Disconnected
Register determines whether the Active(Operating) area is reloaded upon
a disconnect.
Register has the following values:
0 (or 231)=No Change
1 (or 232)=Reload
2 (or 233)=Reload with No AT Change
NOTE: Reload with No AT Change can be saved only if the save
command (&W) follows the S88=2 command on the same
command line.
The factory default templates do not affect S88.

S89 V.42 ARQ Window Size Increase
Register allows the V.42 Automatic Request for Transmission (ARQ)
window size to be set to a value from 6 to 15 frames to accommodate
satellite delays.
Register has the following values:
0=6 frames (default)
1=7 frames
2=8 frames
3=9 frames

This command applies only to connections made using V.42bis data
compression or V.42 error control.
Factory setting is 6 frames.

S90 DTE Rate=VF Rate
Register forces the DTE (computer) data rate to be equal to the VF
(telephone line) data rate.
Register has the following values:
0=Disable
1=Enable
Factory setting is Disable.

S91 Cellular Enhancements
Valid only if ETC is installed, register determines whether parameters are
set to improve performance over a cellular link. Should be enabled when
the remote modem is using a cellular connection.
Register has the following values:
0=Disable
1=Enable
