Proportional | All characters have different widths and |
spaced fonts | are difficult to center justify. |
ROM Fonts | These are stored on a ROM chip which is |
| installed in your priner. They cannot be |
| erased. |
Scalable (Vector) | These fonts reside in the printer’s RAM or |
fonts | in a ROM chip. Changing the point size |
| and magnification prints a smooth font. |
| There is no jaggedness at any point size, |
| because the font is created from an |
| equation every time it is used. |
