7.0USING THE CONTROLLER AS A STAND-ALONE MIDI CONTROLLER

All messages transmitted by the PFClO Professional MIDI Foot Controller are standard MIDI messages. When used with a standard, 5-pin MIDI DIN cable, the controller will transmit Program and CV messages.

Each timeyouturnthe footcontrolleron,you need to setthe MIDI channelthatthefoot controller will transmit on. The following message will appear:

Select the appropriate channel by pressing the numeric buttons.

The PFC 10 Professional MIDI Foot Controller sends MIDI Program Change messages in the Program

Change mode. Programs are arranged in ten banks often programs as previously described.

For example: If you are currently on program 4 and wish to change to program 58, press the Bank/ Tuner button once and then press the 5th numeric button for Bank 5. As soon as you press the 8, Program Change 58istransmitted. Now,ifyou press 3, Program Change 53 will betransmitted.The LEDs will show the active program number and the display willshowthe currentbank/program, as follows:

8.0 MIDI IMPLEMENTATION

MIDI Channel: 1-16user selectable in STAND-ALONE mode,automaticallysetwhen used with Tube Fex or TransFex 212.
