SAFETY FIRST
• The Xenon lamp for Big EdTM gets very hot during |
operation. DO NOT TOUCH the lamp when in use. |
When the lamp must be replaced, wait at least five minutes |
after extinguishing the flashlight before touching the lamp. |
• Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix brands of |
batteries. If the flashlight is not to be used for an extended |

Hydrogen Gas Absorber Pellets
Located inside the flashlight are catalyst pellets which are present to absorb hydrogen gas that could possibly be emitted by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or heavily discharged batteries. If the pellets become wet, let them air dry. Pelican Products assumes no liability for any brand batteries which are defective or cause injury to
anyone when used in any Pelican flashlight.

LA LINTERNA Para encender la linterna presione el botón del interruptor que se encuentra en el costado derecho de la armazón.
Para apagar la linterna, presione el botón del interruptor.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Note: The battery tray ejects rapidly from the flashlight base and may fall to the ground if the user does not
position a hand underneath the tray.

4. To replace, push the tray back into the flashlight with the batteries facing the lens side until an audible “click” is heard.
