If Pelican determines that any returned product is not defective, within the terms of this warranty, the purchaser shall pay Pelican all costs of handling, return freight and repairs at Pelican’s prevailing rates. In the event that Pelican determines that any returned product is defective, within the terms of this warranty, Pelican shall pay the purchaser all reasonable costs of the purchaser in making claim under this warranty.

1.Remove lens housing by turning
2.Remove the lamp module.
3.Remove used batteries and replace with fresh batteries + end up.
4.Replace the lamp module.
5.Replace lens housing squarely on threads and turn clockwise while slightly pressing on the lens housing.
ON/OFF
Turn the lens housing clockwise until light activates. To turn light off, back lens housing off
LAMP REPLACEMENT
To replace the lamp module follow steps in the battery installation section as listed above:
To remove lamp module follow steps #1 and #2. To replace lamp module follow steps #4 and #5.
CAUTION:
If light is not to be used for some time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage and corrosion.
LENS DISC INSTALLATION
The colored discs are designed to enable the flashlight to be used without affecting night vision. The discs fit inside the flashlight in between the lamp module and the inside of the clear lens cover.
To Install:
1.Remove the lens cover.
2.Place the colored disc inside the lens cover.
3.Refit the lens cover.
HYDROGEN GAS ABSORBER
Internal catalyst pellets, located on the lamp, are there to help absorb hydrogen gas that could possibly be emitted by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or heavily discharged batteries. If the pellets become lost or damaged, replace lamp immediately.
If pellets become wet, let them air dry. Pelican Products assumes no liability for any brand of batteries which are defective or cause injury to anyone when used in any Pelican flashlight.

Alkaline Batteries
1.For those lights with hazardous location safety approvals for explosive environments please be advised that the safety approval is only valid for the specified battery type manufacturer and, where applicable, brand names that are displayed on the flashlight and/or instructions sheets that are supplied with the light. The use of other battery technologies may reduce the performance of the flashlight and will invalidate the safety approval.
2.Always read the battery manufacturers recommendations for the appropriate use of the battery technology/brand prior to using the flashlight.
