Using the Self-timer

In Self-timer mode, the picture is taken ten seconds or two seconds after the shutter release button is pressed.

Taking Pictures

Use this mode when you want to be included in a group picture.

gThe picture is taken approximately ten seconds after the shutter release button is pressed.

ZUse this mode to avoid camera shake. The picture is taken approximately two seconds after the shutter release button is pressed.

The focus frame on the LCD monitor turns green if the subject is in focus.

Press the shutter release button fully.

The picture is taken ten seconds or two seconds later.

Focusing may be compromised if you move the camera while the self-timer lamp is blinking when taking still pictures.

• In dmode, recording will start after ten seconds (or two seconds).

• Press the shutter release button halfway while the self-timer is running to stop the countdown. Press it down fully to restart the countdown.

•Z cannot be selected for default setting of smode for the first time. Select Zin another shooting mode and then switch the shooting mode to smode.

•In mode, g (10 sec. Self-timer) cannot be selected.
