TakingThis mode lets you take movie pictures at a delayed frame rate so that when you play the movie back, the action appears speeded up. This function is useful for recording a blooming flowers, etc.
1 Press the MENU button in Movie Picture mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu will be displayed.

Shooting in Fast Forward Movie mode starts.
•Off (×1) is the normal setting for movie pictures (12 frames per second). Each time ×2 or ×5 is selected, the number of frames taken per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.
•As movie pictures are normally played back at the rate of 12 frames per second, movies taken at ×2 are played back twice as fast and movies taken at ×5 are played back five times as fast.
•Sound cannot be recorded.
