Setting the Sensitivity

You can select the sensitivity to suit the brightness of the surroundings.

4Sensitivity

Taking	Auto	The camera sets the sensitivity automatically.
	50	• The lower the sensitivity, the sharper the image and the less noise. The
	100	shutter speed will be slower in low light conditions.
Pictures
		• The higher the sensitivity, the faster the shutter speed in low light
	200
		conditions to reduce camera shake, but the image may be affected by
	400	noise.
	1 Press the MENU button in the Capture mode.
	The [ARec.Mode] menu appears.
	2 Use the four-way controller (23)
			Rec. Mode
	to select [Sensitivity] and press		Recorded Pixels	2560
	the four-way controller (5).		Quality Level	AUTO
			White Balance	50
	3 Use the four-way controller (23)		Focusing Area	100
			AE Metering	200
	to change the sensitivity.		Sensitivity	AUTO400

	4 Press the OK button and then the
	MENU button.

The camera is ready to take pictures.

[AUTO] cannot be selected in the Manual Exposure mode.
