Using the Remote Control to Adjust the Zoom Magnification

With the Remote control E (optional), you can also adjust the zoom magnification with the zoom button.

1 Press the zoom button on the remote control in remote control mode.

The zoom magnification changes each time the button is pressed.

Caution

•You cannot use the zoom button on the remote control when the focus mode is set to q (Macro).

•You can only use the zoom button on the remote control to adjust the zoom magnification within the optical zoom range. You cannot adjust the zoom magnification within the digital zoom range.

Memo

•All buttons on the camera are operable even when using the remote control function.

•The remote control can be operated up to approximately 4 m (13 ft.) from the front of the camera.

•With a new battery, the remote control can send signals to the camera approximately 30,000 times.
