The AF Setting is saved.

8 Press the 3 button twice.

The camera returns to capture status with the current setting.

In Y, Cand Nmode, [Focusing Area] can only be set to J (Multiple) or K(Spot).

In I, >and zmode, [Focusing Area] is set to J(Multiple).

If you use the [Focusing Area] function frequently, you can save time by assigning it to the Green button. (p.58)

Setting the Focus Limiter

You can limit the lens movement range according to the conditions. Set the [Focus Limiter] to O(On) to limit the focus to far distances from normal range during normal shooting and to close distances during macro shooting. This enables faster focusing.

1 Press the 3 button in Amode.

The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.

2 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [AF Setting]. 3 Press the four-way controller (5).

The AF Setting screen appears.

4 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Focus Limiter].

Use the four-way controller (45) to select O(On) or P(Off).

The Focus Limiter setting is saved.
