Setting the Guide Display

You can choose whether or not to display a guide for the mode you choose in the Capture Mode Palette (p.53) and Playback Mode Palette (p.60), and whether the current shooting mode is displayed when the camera is turned on.

1 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Guide Display] on the [B Setting] menu.

2 Use the four-way controller (45) to select O(On) or P(Off).

O (ON): The mode guide is displayed.

P (OFF): The mode guide is not displayed.

3 Press the MENU button.

The camera returns to Amode or Q mode. Repeat the above steps to change the setting.

Resetting to Default Settings (Reset)

You can reset the camera settings to their defaults. Refer to “Default Settings” (p.181) for the reset settings.

1 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Reset] on the [HSetting] menu.

2 Press the four-way controller (5).

The Reset screen appears.
