Turning the Camera On and Off

Power switch/power indicator

1 Press the power switch.

The camera turns on and the power indicator turns on.

If the Initial Setting screen appears when you turn the camera on, follow the procedure on p.36 to set the display language and/or current date and time.

2 Press the power switch again.

The camera turns off and the power indicator turns off.

Checking the Memory Card

The memory card is checked automatically when the camera turns on. +appears on the LCD monitor when there is no SD Memory Card inserted in the camera. In this case, images and sound files will be saved in the

built-in memory.
