Pentax S55 Setting the Date and Time

If you have set the wrong language by mistake, use the following procedure to reset the language.

	1	Press the MENU button twice.
					Set-up
1 2		Press the four-way controller (5)		Sound	On
		twice.		Format
Getting	3			Date Adjust	mm/dd/yy
		to choose the [Language/	].	MENU Exit	OK OK
		Press the four-way controller (23)		World Time	Off
				Screen Setting
					English
Started	4	Use the four-way controller (45) to
	5	choose the display language.
		Press the OK button.

The language is reset, and the screen switches to the Caputure mode. The date and time settings are not finished yet, set them following the procedure on (p.118) “Changing the Date and Time”.

Setting the Date and Time

Set the current date and time and the display style.

1	Press the four-way controller (23),
		Date Adjust
	to select the date display style.
		Date Style			mm/dd/yy		24H
		01 / 01				/ 2005
					00	: 00
2		MENU Exit				OK OK
	Press the four-way controller (5).
		Date Adjust
	The frame moves to [24H].	Date Style			mm/dd/yy
3							24H
	Press the four-way controller (23),	01 / 01				/ 2005
	to select the time display style.				00	: 00
	Select [12H] to display the time in a 12 hour	MENU Exit				OK OK
	format, or select [24] to display the time in a
4	24 hour format.
	Press the four-way controller (5).
		Date Adjust
	The frame moves to month.	Date Style			mm/dd/yy		12H
			01	/ 01 / 2005
			AM 12 : 00
