(5)A default playlist name will be given. If desired to edit the playlist name, press ENTER for the cursor to appear.

(6)Use (2.1.10 Using Temporary List) and (c. Only one temporary list is allowed at one time.) button to move the cursor and use the CLEAR button for erasing entry.

(7)Press SAVE to store the new playlist name when finished.

2.1.10 Using Temporary List

Temporary list is a temporary place for storing all your selections ready for rapid archive, compress or SmartMediaTM Card download. For SmartMediaTM Card download, only compressed files are allowed.

(1) While browsing the entire hard drive, MARK the files you would like to include in the playlist. Press MARK again to deselect the files. Marked songs will have a “Manual background” after the title. You can select to mark the entire folder or a song.

(2)MARK the desired songs. Marked songs will have a “Manual background” after the title.

(3)Press PROG. to review your selection in the temporary list. (Press MARK to delete songs in the temporary list or go through the mark song process to add songs.)

(4)When finished, press REC again to enter into the Temporary List Record Menu.

(5)Select compress bit rate (Optional). Please (Manual background) to choose from 128kbps, 320kbps, or CD Quality.

(6)Scroll up to select your recording option: Rapid Archive, Compress, or Play and Compress. Rapid archive is for ripping; compress is for instant compression to hard drive; and play and compress is for playing and compressing at the same time.

(7)Press ENTER to confirm.

Notes:

a. If a temporary list was created before and the Jukebox has not been turned off, the newly marked songs will be appended to the bottom of the existing song list.

b. Once the Jukebox has changed to the sleep mode, the temporary list will be lost.

c. Only one temporary list is allowed at one time.
