The
thread
cutter
is
an
oblique slot
located
at
the
back
of
the
presser
bar.
Raise
the
sewing
foot.
Pull
the
work
out
of
the
machine
toward
the
back.
Draw
the
threads
into
the
cutter
slot
and
pull
them
downwards
to
cut
them.

four
positions:

The sewing
foot
is
raised.
(Before
you
remove
the
work,
turn
the
hand wheel
toward
you
to
raise
the
needle
and
the take-up
lever.)

The
sewing
foot
is
raised
further
for
inserting extra-thick materials.
Darning
position
for
darning
foot
only.
Lower
the
presser
bar
lifter
and
at
the
same
time
push
it
back
sligthly
until
it
enters
notch
R
at
the
bottom
of
its
slot.
The sewing
foot
is
lowered
for
sewing.
