PC-SUB WL SERIES AMPLIFIER PANEL

1.Power/Auto ON/OFF: When this switch is left “ON”, the subwoofer automatically activates upon detection of an audio signal; the subwoofer goes into “STANDBY” after approximately ten (10) minutes of silence. The LED on the amplifier will change from Red to Green when an input signal is detected and the amplifier turns on.

2.Power Input: Connects to a standard AC power outlet with the supplied power cord. The PC-SUB WL is designed to adjust automatically to handle power sources of 100-240V, 50-60Hz. Please be certain that the proper fuse is installed on the amp for the input voltage used locally (see ratings on amplifier panel).

3.Wireless Signal: Blue LED light is on when wireless signal is being received. Press RESET to establish or re-establish a wireless connection. (See wireless set up instructions)

4.Line In: FOR WIRED CONNECTION ONLY: Using a high-quality RCA cable, connect the “SUB OUT” terminal on your receiver or processor to the “LINE IN” terminal on your PC-SUB WL subwoofer. (See wired setup connection instructions.)

5.Low-Pass Frequency Control: If using the crossover setting in your A/V receiver or processor, set this control to “LFE” (Low-Frequency Effects). If using the sub’s internal crossover, choose the setting that sounds best and matches the low-frequency cutoff of your main speakers. It may take some experimentation to find the best sound for your room and your equipment.

6.Phase Control: This adjustment matches the phase - the in and out movement of speaker cones - to that of your main speakers. Adjust this control by listening to music with bass content. The setting is correct when the bass sounds the fullest.

7.Gain Control: This adjustment increases or decreases the power, and thus volume, of the PC-SUB WL. As with the Phase Control and the Low-Pass Frequency Control, it may take some experimentation to find the best sound for your system.

VIBRATION ISOLATION PADS

Included with your PC-SUB WL are a set of four (4) gray disks with an adhesive backing. The Vibration Isolation Pads should be used whenever your subwoofer is installed on any hard flooring surface. These pads prevent the subwoofer from moving against the floor when played at high levels. To use the pads, simply peel off the paper backing from the four disks and apply one pad to the bottom of each of the rubber feet of the subwoofer.

Phase Technology, a renowned name in the audio industry, has introduced its line of PC-SUB subwoofers, including the PC-SUB WL-10, PC-SUB WL-12, and PC-SUB WL-8. These subwoofers are designed to deliver powerful, high-quality bass performance, making them suitable for both home theater and professional audio applications.

The PC-SUB WL-10 features a 10-inch driver, which provides deep bass response while maintaining clarity. It is built with a high-efficiency 300-watt amplifier that ensures robust sound even at high volumes. This model incorporates advanced technology such as a front-firing design that allows for more flexible placement options without sacrificing sound quality. The adjustable crossover frequency enables users to tailor the output to match their speakers, ensuring a seamless integration into any audio system.

Next in line, the PC-SUB WL-12 boasts a larger 12-inch driver, which translates to more extensive low-frequency output and deeper bass. This subwoofer also features a powerful 500-watt amplifier, allowing it to handle more demanding audio tracks effortlessly. The robust cabinet construction minimizes unwanted vibrations, ensuring that the sound remains tight and well-defined. The PC-SUB WL-12 is equipped with phase control settings, enabling users to adjust the alignment of the subwoofer with their main speakers, thus enhancing overall sound coherence.

The PC-SUB WL-8, the smallest of the three, still packs a punch with its 8-inch driver delivering impressive bass response in a compact form factor. It is perfect for smaller rooms where space is limited but sound quality cannot be compromised. The unit incorporates a highly efficient 200-watt amplifier, making it an ideal choice for casual listening and smaller home theater setups. The adjustable volume and crossover controls allow users to fine-tune their experience.

All three models are designed with durable materials to withstand the rigors of daily use and to ensure longevity. They feature elegant finishes that can complement various interior designs. Additionally, each subwoofer in the Phase Technology PC-SUB line comes equipped with multiple connectivity options, including line-level and speaker-level inputs, making them versatile enough to integrate into any existing audio system.

In summary, the Phase Technology PC-SUB WL-10, WL-12, and WL-8 subwoofers are engineered to deliver exceptional performance with their powerful drivers, advanced amplifier technologies, and user-friendly features. Whether for home cinema or high-fidelity music playback, these subwoofers provide a remarkable listening experience that promises deep, resonant bass and overall audio enjoyment.
