
Error codes, messages and solutions
The following table summarises the error codes that appear on Activity reports (see p. 89), the displayed messages and what to do for each error.

The touch tone/rotary pulse setting on your fax is incorrect.
The receiving fax did not answer within 55 seconds.
Set your fax to the setting that matches your
Contact the other party and have them check their fax. You can try to send the document manually. For an overseas call, add pauses to the registered number. (See p. 29.)
