Four modes are available: Fax Only Mode: Answers calls as fax

calls automatically. Fax/Tel Mode: Receives both documents and

telephone calls. Manual Mode: Receives calls manually. Ans. 2

Machine Mode: Receives documents and passes calls to an answering machine.

Arrow buttons ( , )/Volume

Use to scroll through menus and lists that appear on the LCD, and to change settings. These buttons also move the cursor in some naming operations and adjust the volume of the monitor speaker.

Use to set the resolution for the type of document you want to send. You can select from STANDARD, FINE, and PHOTO.

Press this button (followed by a two- digit code) to dial a fax number registered for Coded Speed Dialling.

Press to start data registration of fax numbers, names, and other important settings for sending and receiving.

Redial/Pause

Redial/Pause

Press to dial the last number dialled with the numeric buttons. When dialling or registering fax numbers, press to enter pauses between digits.
