5Insertthe BJ cartridge. Align the slot in

thecartridge with the yellow post in the

fax.

Theyellow post (BJ cartridge guide) should be

visiblethrough the slot. The BJ cartridge tilts

slightlyto the left in the loaded position.

6Lowerthe cartridge release lever until

youhear a click to lock the cartridge in

place.

¶Makesure the arm on the cartridge release

leveris aligned with the marking on the BJ

cartridge.

¶Ifthe lever movement is not smooth, release

thelever and reload the cartridge.

¶Toavoid cartridge misalignment and an error

messageappearing, do not press down on the

cartridgeor try to align it manually while

raisingand lowering the green lever.
