Introduction

The RC027 remote has been designed as a direct replace- ment for existing digital satellite receiver remote controls (eg Sky™ and Sky+™)*. All functions are the same and the layout mirrors that of original remotes to make life as easy as possible for the user. The RC027 is fully preprogrammed to operate all digital satellite receivers.The RC027 will also operate the basic functions of many popular TVs, after the correct code has been entered, see "How to set up your RC027" (page 3).

Installing Batteries

Your RC027 requires 2 fresh AAA-size (LR03) batteries (alkaline batteries recommended) :-

1.Remove the battery cover on the back of your RC027.

2.Insert the batteries ensuring that the polarity corresponds with the markings in the battery compartment.

3.Push the battery cover back in place.

Please Note

The TV code set-up procedure will cancel itself if no keys are pressed for more than 10 seconds (in order to protect your code against accidental re-programming, and to conserve battery power). Therefore we advise you to read the following instructions and to familiarise yourself with the procedures, before attempting to program your RC027 to operate TV functions.
