Lock or unlock one or more channels
1 When watchi ng TV, press OK to display
the channel g rid.
2 Press to select a cha nnel to lock or
unlock.
3 Press OPTIONS.
4 Press to select [Lock channel] or
[Unlock channel].
5 For each selec tion, press OK to lock or
unlock the channel.
The first time you lock or unlock a »
channel, you are prompted to enter
your PIN code.
6 Enter your code a nd press OK.
If the channel is locked, a lock icon is »
displayed.
7 Repeat the pr ocess to lock or unlock
more channels.
Note
Switch the T V off and on again for th e change •
to take effe ct.
If you use
• P +/- on your remote co ntrol to
switch be tween channels , the locked channels
are skipped.
If you access the l ocked channels from t he
•
channel gr id, you are prompt ed to enter your
PIN code.
Set parental ratings
Some digit al broadcaster s rate thei r
program mes according to age. You can set
your TV to dis play only programmes wi th age
ratings hig her than your child’s age.
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [Parental rating].
A code setup screen appears. »
3 Enter your code u sing Numeric buttons.
The parental rating menu appears. »
4 Press to select an a ge rating.
5 Press OK to confirm.
6 Press MENU to exit.
Use TV locks
You can prevent your children from watching
certain programmes or channels by locking the
TV controls.
Set or change your PIN code
1 Press MENU.
2 Press to select [Setup] >
[Features] > [Set code] / [Change code].
The »[Set code] / [Change code] menu
appears.
3 Enter your code u sing the Numeric
buttons.
Follow the on-screen instructions to »
create or change your PIN code.
Tip
If you forget your code, enter ‘8888’ to •
overrid e any existing codes.

and connec ted devices.
1 Press MENU.

[Features] > [TV lock].
You are prompted to enter your PIN »
code.
3 Enter your code u sing Numeric buttons.
The »[TV lock] menu appears.
4 Press to select [Lock] or [Unlock].
5 Press OK to confirm.
All channels and connected devices are »
locked or unlocked.
6 Press MENU to exit.
