Touchtones (DTMF)
Your phone keys always transmit DTMF tones (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) also known as "touchtones". These tones are used to operate services that you can reach with your phone, such as a pager or an answering machine.
For example, to consult your home answering machine you may need to enter the following commands:

Make a second call*
You can make a second call during an active call or during a call on hold. You can also switch between calls.
1Dial the second number during a call.
2 Press d.
To switch between calls:
1Press o.
2Select Switch calls.
To end a call:
Press r to hang up active line.
