Change TV preferences The [Preferences] menu a llows you to
customise var ious features and func tions.
1 Press ( Home ).
2 Select [Setup] > [Installation] >
[Preferences] .
[Location] O ptimises TV setting s for
your location - home or shop.
[Volume bar] Display s the volume
bar when adjus ting the volume.
[Chann el info.] Displays information
about the T V channel every time yo u
switch channels.
[EasyLink] Enables one -touch play
and one-touc h standby between
EasyLink-compliant devices.
[Pixel Plus Link] Over rides the
settings of co nnected devices and
uses the set tings of the TV.
[E-sticker] For shop mode only. Sets
the location of t he e-sticker.
Start a TV demo You can use d emonstrations to be tter
unders tand the features of your T V. Som e
demos are not av ailable on certai n models.
When a demo is ava ilable, it is displayed in th e
menu list.
1 Press DEMO .
2 Press or to select a demo.
3 Press OK to s tart the demo.

download the TV identi cation le to the
USB stor age device.
Step 2 Download the latest software
1 Connect th e USB storage device to a
computer wi th internet connec tion.
2 Locate and ope n the le update.htm on
your USB stor age device.
3 Read the on-sc reen instruct ions and click
the Send ID but ton.
I f a new software is avail able, the update
is downloaded to t he USB storage device .
4 Disconnec t the USB storage devi ce.
Step 3 Update the TV software
Caution
Do not disconn ect the USB stor age device
from the T V during the soft ware update.
If a power fai lure occurs duri ng the update, do
not remove th e USB storage devi ce from the
TV. The TV wi ll continue the updat e as soon
as power comes b ack.

1 Connect th e USB storage device to t he
TV.
An on-screen message prompts you to
update your TV software.
2 Select [Update] .
3 Select [Start] .
4 Follow the on-s creen instruct ions to
update the T V software.
Update using a USB device
C onnect your USB device to t he USB port at
the side of your T V.
1 If the soft ware update screen do es not
appear automatically, select [Setup] >
[Softwa re update] > [Local updates]
> [USB] to up date the TV softwa re
manually.
2 Follow the on-s creen instruct ions to
complete the u pdate.
