Change TV preferences
1 When watching TV, press (Home).
The home menu appears. »
2 Press the Navigation but tons to select
[Setup], then press OK.
3 Select [Advanced TV set tings] and press
OK.
4 Select [Preferences], then se lect a setting
to change:
• [Menu language]: Select s the menu
language.
• [Sleeptimer]: Sets the TV to switch
to standby after a pre -dened period
of time.
• [Location]: Optimizes TV settings fo r
your location - home or shop.
• [Volume bar]: Displays the volume
bar when you adjust the volu me.
• [Channel information size]: Displ ays
information about the T V channel
every time you switch ch annels.
• [Universal access]: Enables o r
disables the univers al access menu.
• [Key beep]: Enables or disables th e
audio feedback when you pre ss a
remote control butto n.
• [Programme guide]: Select s the
source/provider of the pro gram
guide.
• [Audio Out delay]: Enable or disabl e
audio delay to match the video o n
screen. Always connec t the audio
signal from a DVD player or other
device directly to the T V rst.
• [TV placement]: Applie s TV settings
suitable for the placeme nt of the TV.
• [Teletext 2.5]: Enables o r disables
Teletext 2.5.
• [Clock]: Accesses TV clock settings .
5 Press OK to conrm.
The setting is applied. »
6 Press (Back) to exit the menu.

Update software (from internet)

For PFL8605 only
(Only available in some countr ies/cities) If
your TV is connected to a rou ter, which is
connected to the Inter net, you can update the
TV software dir ectly from the Inte rnet. You
need a high speed Intern et connection.

2 Press the Navigation but tons to select
[Setup], then press OK.
3 Select [Softwa re update] and press OK.
4 Select [Internet] and press OK.
The update assistant starts. Follow the »
on-screen instructions to complete the
update.
Tip
If the TV is connecte d to the Internet, t he TV •
displays a message abou t the availabilit y of new
software at sta rtup.
