Adding a telephone line
Connect an additional Digital Telephone Desktop 9850 to another telephone line. You also might configure your telephone system so that a caller is automatically redirected to the free line when the first line is busy. If you have configured for automatic PC download: Up to four DTD 9850 can be connected to the same PC – connect each DTD 9850s with the USB cable to a free USB port on this PC.
Transcribe on the Desktop
If you want to play back and transcribe the recorded files directly on your DTD 9850 in hands free mode, you can plug the optional Philips foot control LFH 210 into the corresponding socket “FOOTSW” on the back of the device. For private listening the optional Philips headphones LFH 234 can be added to the headphone socket “HEADPH”. Note: During manual operation or transcription it is not possible to record via
PC Transcription
Professional PC Transcription software should be used if you want to:
Keep the telephone line free during the transcription process,
Transcribe at a different location (different from where the DTD 9850 is attached) Incorporate the phone jobs into your regular PC transcription process.
This can be done with the Philips Transcription Set LFH 7277.
The Transcription Set comes with foot control LFH 210, headphones LFH 234 and a USB adapter box (so that no special PC sound card is required).

Foot controlled file transcription with auto
Access to job information during transcription – allows you to review relevant dictation data, such as length, author ID, work type code and priority status.
Password protected file encryption after DTD 9850 file download to the PC – guarantees confidentiality.
