Troubleshooting

Sound skips during MP3	– MP3 file made at compression level exceeding
playback	320 kbps.
	Use a lower compression level to record CD tracks into
	MP3 format.
	– Disc damaged or dirty.
	Replace or clean disc.
MP3 tracks and albums are	– This is not a fault.
not played in the order	Playback of all MP3-CDs on this set is sorted into
they have been recorded	alpabetical order.
Remote control does not	– Set is switched off.
function properly/ cannot	Press POWER y button on the set to switch on
turn on the set	(See Switching POWER on/off).
	– Batteries dead/ incorrectly inserted.
	Insert (fresh) batteries correctly.
	– Distance/ angle between the set too large.
	Reduce the distance/ angle.
Cannot play/ find desired	– Wrong file extension used and/ or filename unsuitable
MP3 titles	text characters used.
	Make sure the file names are typed in English text
	characters and that the MP3 files end with .mp3
	(See When burning the MP3-CD).
