Setup
Note
To play a DVD disc that has a rating level highe r than your setting , enter the passwor d fi rst. (Refer to •
“ Setup ” > “ Gen eral setup ” > “ Play a locked disc ” for details)
The rating levels are countr y-dependent . To allow all discs to be played, se lect • [8 Adult] .
Some discs have ratings printe d on but are not recor ded with ratings . This function h as no effect on such •
discs.
[PBC] - Enable o r disable the PBC (playbac k control) feature.
[Password] - Change the password for playing discs that a re locked or restric ted with rating level s.
Change the password
1 Select [Prefere nce] > [Password] > [Change] , and then press OK .
The interface for changing password is displayed. »
2 Press OK again.
“0” is displayed behind »[Old Password] as the fi rst digit of old password.
3 Press / t o set a value (0-9) to the fi rst digit.
4 Pr ess .
5 Repeat steps 3 and 4 to e nter the 6-digit old p assword.
6 Repeat steps 3 and 4 to e nter the new password be hind [New Password] .
7 Repeat steps 3 and 4 to e nter the new password be hind [Confi rm PWD] .
Note
If you forget t he password, ent er “136900” before you se t a new password. •
[DivX Subti tle] - Select a char acter set that suppor ts the subtitle of your D ivX video.
[Version Info] - Display the information about soft ware version of this play er.
[Default] - Reset all settings to factor y default, except for the se ttings for [Disc Lock] , [Parental
Control] , and [Password] .
