Preference
[Audio] - Select an audi o language.
[Subtitle] - Select a language for subtitle .
[Disc Menu] - Select a language for disc menu.
Note
For some DVDs, the subtit le or audio language c an only be changed fro m the disc menu. •
For a language that is not listed, select • [Others]. Check the lis t of language codes (see “L anguage Code”),
and then enter the resp ective language cod e. (Refer to “Setup” > “General setup” > “Play a l ocked disc”
for how to enter the 4-dig it code)
[Parental Control] - Select a rating level to re strict the play of disc s to children. These disc s must be
recorded with rating l evels.

To play a DVD disc that has a rating leve l higher than your set ting, enter the pa ssword first . (Refer to •
“Setup” > “General setup” > “Play a locked disc” for deta ils)
The rating levels are cou ntry-depen dent. To allow all discs to be p layed, select
• [8 Adult].
Some discs have ratings p rinted on but are no t recorded with ra tings. This func tion has no effec t on such

discs.
[PBC] - Enable or disable the PBC (p layback control) feature .
