If the receiver is connected to a Philips CINEMALINK TV via
the CINEMALINK system control bus sockets (see
“CONNECTIONS”), you may use the TV to set up the system.
An option called RECEIVER will be added to the TV menu.
If CINEMALINK is on, adjustments on the receiver will be
shown on the TV screen for a few seconds. Consult the
instruction booklet of your TV on how to use the TV menu.
The options offered may vary by TV model.
Switching the connection
•Press CINEMALINK to switch the connection between the
receiver and the TV either on or off.
yIf the connection is switched on, CINEMALINK ON is
displayed.
Note: We recommend switching CINEMALINK off during
recording. This avoids unwanted interruptions due to
switching TVfunctions.
If CINEMALINK is switched on and the TV menu is active,
TV MENUis displayed and the menu and sound functions on
the receiver are locked.
