CHANGE THE SETTINGS
If the PDC signal is available in your area, the
HDR1000 gets the current time from your local PDC
broadcast when the Auto clock feature is turned on.
The HDR1000 will correct the current time automati-
cally at 4:30 during standby.
• In the example below, the clock is to be set to:
DATE 7th March, 2002
SETTING TIME 17:40
• Before you begin, press HDD button so that the
blue HDD light appears on the front panel on the
HDR1000.
Display “Menu”
screen.
• Press MENU button.
Select “Basic
Setup”.
• Press Kor Lbutton.
Then, press OK button.
Select “Clock”.
• Press Kor Lbutton.
Then, press OK button
Move the cursor
to setting posi-
tion.
• Press Bbutton to move
the cursor.
Select “On”(or
“Off”).
• Press Kor Lbutton.
Then, press Bbutton
twice to move the cursor.
• If the HDR1000 receives PDC program in Auto
Search on page 15, current time and date appear
automatically.If they do not appear correctly, go to
step [6] to correct the PDC preset number or set
the Auto Clock to "Off" and then go to step [7].

• Press K,L, or Number buttons when you change
the preset number.
Then, press Bbutton twice to move the cursor.
Select the hour.
• Press K,L, or Number
buttons to select your
desired hour.
(Example: 17)
Then, press Bbutton to move the cursor.
Select the
minute.
• Press K,L, or Number
buttons to select your
desired minute.
(Example: 40)
Then, press Bbutton twice to move the cursor.
Select the day.
• Press K,L, or Number
buttons to select your
desired day.
(Example: 07 for 7th)
Then, press Bbutton to move the cursor.
Select the
month.
• Press Kor Lbutton to
select your desired
month.
(Example: March)
Then, press Bbutton to move the cursor.
