3Move the Ladyshave slowly over the skin. You can move the Ladyshave up and down or from left to right (fig. 9), depending on which movement you find most pleasant.

4Switch the appliance off by moving the slide

(F) to position O (fig. 8).

Storage

1Put the protection cap on your Ladyshave

after use.

The protection cap prevents the shaving foil and two trimmers from becoming damaged.

Cleaning the appliance

Clean the Ladyshave every time you have used it.

Do not use any corrosive detergents, scouring pads or cloths, petrol, acetone etc. to clean the appliance.

Do not exert any pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damage.

After each use

1Switch the appliance off.

2Rinse the appliance under the tap (fig. 10). Do not clean, rinse or immerse the Ladyshave in water if the cover of the battery holder is not properly closed.

Do not use water that is hotter than shower temperature to clean the appliance.

1Remove the shaving head (B) from the appliance (fig. 11) to clean the hair chamber and the shaving head.

2Rinse the hairs off the shaving head (fig. 12) and the appliance (fig. 13).

3Put the shaving head back onto the appliance ('click').

From time to time

Once a year in case of normal use.

1Remove the shaving head (B) from the appliance (fig. 11).

2Release the shaving foil unit from the trimmer unit (1) and separate the two units (2) (fig. 14).

3Brush the shaving foil and the cutter block carefully (fig. 15).

4Place the shaving foil unit on a solid and flat surface and press the trimmer unit back onto the shaving foil unit (fig. 16).

5Put the shaving head back onto the appliance ('click').

Maintenance and replacement

1Lubricate the shaving foil with a drop of sewing machine oil twice a year (fig. 17).

If you use the Ladyshave twice a week or more, we advise you to replace the shaving foil and cutter block every one to two years.

The shaving foil may only be replaced with an original Philips shaving foil (type HP2904).

The cutter block may only be replaced with an original Philips cutter block (type HP2907).

The environment

Make sure the batteries are completely empty when you dispose of them.

Do not throw batteries away with the normal household waste, but hand them in at an official collection point.
