3Push the shaving head in the direction of the arrow (1) and remove it from the appliance (2). (Fig. 24)

4Remove the shaving foil from the shaving head (Fig. 25).

5Clean the shaving foil, the cutter block and the hair chamber with the cleaning brush.

Do not exert any pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damage.

6You can also rinse the shaving head and its parts under the running tap.

7Put the protection cap on the shaving head after use.

8Rub a drop of sewing machine oil onto the shaving foil twice a year.

Replacement

If you use the appliance two or more times a week, we advise you to replace the shaving foil and the cutter block every 1 to 2 years.

A worn or damaged shaving foil may only be replaced with an original Philips shaving foil (type no. HP6116).

A worn or damaged cutter block may only be replaced with an original Philips cutter block (type no. HP2911).

Environment

-Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the

environment (Fig. 26).
